BILLINGS, MT – Congressman Matt Rosendale (MT-02) attended the 2024 Rick Justice Memorial Red and Blue Charity Ball at the Billings Hotel & Convention Center to honor firefighter Wade Bomar. Wade passed last year after many long-fought battles with infections and complications from injuries sustained while responding to wildfires. Rep. Rosendale presented Wade’s family with a flag flown over the United States Capitol in Wade’s honor and a Congressional Certificate honoring Wade’s service and ultimate sacrifice.

“Wade was a skilled outdoorsman, a loving husband, and a devoted father. He was also very active in his community and impacted the lives of many,” said Rep. Rosendale. “With Wade’s passing Montana lost a true hero, but his memory will forever be in our hearts and minds.”
