WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, Congressman Matt Rosendale (MT-02) expressed his disappointment after the Senate's decision not to remove Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, Alejandro Mayorkas from office.
"The Senate has once again turned their backs on the American people and refused to hold Mayorkas accountable for his failure to keep our homeland safe," said Rep. Rosendale.
He further criticized the Senate by stating, "The House did its job, but the Senate chose to disregard our nation’s sovereignty and continue to jeopardize the lives of our citizens. This is a sad day for America, the American people deserve better!"
